    I went with brushed, our drill press isnt fast enough to do the engine turn as well. But it has a couple of creases in it so I might make another one.

        you can always try the second, and if it doesn't work out, just work over it with the brushed effect

                Yeah I think Im going to make a panel for some some aux gauges(oil press, volt, etc.) I am also thinking about trying a shifter gate like on a ferarri but Ill probably scrap that idea. But the ends of the pull knobs for the head lights, etc have an alum end piece, and the panels for the heat and such have some silver on them. I think its going to work pretty well. I dont want a race car look but I dont want any other wood grain in it except the nardi wheel Im looking at.

                  I made a SS insert for the center console on mine, but i think your is gona look sweet with all those aluminum bits. I got some random parts left over from when i sold mine, if your interested let me no cuz i can get some pics of what i have.

                        Thats just one of the 4 spare clusters I have. The one in the car will be cleaned and rolled back to zero.
