Rounded wire brush on a drill press and paying alot of attention.

Brushed look would be cleaner IMO. The 2nd one could be sweet too, though.

I vote take the rounded wire brush, put it on a drill and go crazy all over. Ive seen it dont before and it looks kinda cool.

Brushed looks like some piece of trim on a fridge, turn it and youll look like a bad ass.

I say turn one side and brush the other, so that if you get bored of one you can flip it over
