  • Solve my E46 Sedan Puzzle.

So my E46 is riding on KW V2's, 235/40ZR18 95Y Squared with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. Not sure of the exact height setting, but the dampening setting is maxed out. I don't have camber plates but I definitely plan on purchasing some really soon. I think I'm running with Rogue Engineering 5mm spacers front/rear but I haven't visually seen them yet. I want my car stanced like the following cars*all rights reserved for the owners of these cars/photos*

Here's my car and its stance and fender gaps.

    Any Help is appreciated,TIA.

He thinks it because you should be able to figure that out yourself as long as you have eyes.
At first i thought i was low. I was then introduced to stanceworks. My life has not been the same since.

I see this is going to be a helpful forum board already.... I'm sure I could figure it out after I go through several sets of spacers from 15,20,25,30mm spacers. Rolling /Pulling my fenders.Or even God forbid a few sets of staggered rims that don't fit...Hence the request for suggestions on what to do.

Your gunna need more then that crotch rocket...nah, but in all honesty u have a great base.i'd start with a new wheel something more concave, but thats just me, then wind that suspension on down then add spacers an camber to the equation to bring it all together...my 2cents...

why dont you start by browsing bmw forums and asking guys who have your car and looks that you like and ask them specs and such. its better than posting up a comment like that. research. there's also several fitment database sites that show various peoples cars and the specs on the wheels and tires they run

                Follow these steps:

                1) Grab ruler/tape measure.
                2) Stick it perpendicular to your wheel.
                3) Measure that shit out to where you want your wheel to sit.
                4) Buy spacer in that size.
                5) ?????
                6) I'm not going to tell you to profit because you still might fuck it up, but that's about it.

Edit: And are you all the way down on your coils? No? Spin those down.

Once you get your final widths and offsets figured out you can start looking at other wheels in more aggressive sizes.

Thanks for suggestions and comments everyone, I'm going to start with the ruler/tape measure and buy the corresponding spacer - the spacers that are already equipped.

I'm on e46fanatics and have been for years, but since this is supposed to be the authoritative stance site I figured I would post here as well.

Sell your wheels and then PM me. Since your fenders are already beat will getting you sitting dirty like that e46 on 95s. All it takes is doing it with proper wheels the first time around. You'll waste as much money on spacers and new tires as you would with proper fitting wheels.

Isn't the fun of all this wheel fitment stuff the joy of being able to learn how to craft YOUR car YOURSELF? IMO sure, getting help is nice but honestly theres some fun in finding what works for you.

this, seems you already fubared your fenders, might as well go big now.
and clean that front, the orange / yellow / HiD's / angel eyes is not flowing together.

Buy a measuring tool such as a ruler, use brain, order spacer

Why is that hard for some people? Honest question
