Seriously though, do not listen to your friend. He seems to have a lot of info on the wrong/ghetto/cheap/dangerous/retarded/half assed way of doing things.

And just fyi, there's nothing wrong with being a noob at this. We all started some where. Just don't listen to the wrong people on how to go about it.

    Your friend is borderline retarded.

Does he happen to lick the windows in your car the odd time? Or wear a helmet?

    Things to pay attention to....

I mentioned the diameter problem to my buddy, he said I have to get shorter struts from a different car (he said Scion TC's have short struts). I'm going to try and source these parts used and see how they work. I will keep you posted.

BTW - do you have S4 headlights? They look different than mine.

I seriously doubt scion struts will bolt into a B5. Stop asking your friend for advice and go to vwvortex or audizine. If you can't afford coils or lowering springs then you should just leave your car at stock height. I'm not saying cutting coils is necessarily bad, but if the spring do not fit after you cut them then you are completely screwed. If you know how to weld then you can cut the bottom of the strut and shorten them.

You have a 96-99 don't you? 99.5-01.5 B5s all have one piece headlights.
