NeedingAnAudi - I will be sure to look at ST coilovers. I am pretty broke though so I think I'm still going to try and do the cut springs route. I mentioned the diameter problem to my buddy, he said I have to get shorter struts from a different car (he said Scion TC's have short struts). I'm going to try and source these parts used and see how they work. I will keep you posted.
BTW - do you have S4 headlights? They look different than mine.

I seriously doubt scion struts will bolt into a B5. Stop asking your friend for advice and go to vwvortex or audizine. If you can't afford coils or lowering springs then you should just leave your car at stock height. I'm not saying cutting coils is necessarily bad, but if the spring do not fit after you cut them then you are completely screwed. If you know how to weld then you can cut the bottom of the strut and shorten them.Originally posted by kriptonik View PostNeedingAnAudi - I will be sure to look at ST coilovers. You have a 96-99 don't you? 99.5-01.5 B5s all have one piece headlights.Strictly Pleasure/Zero Clearance/Stretch Your LegsAlex

You will be happy to know that I won't be doing any work on my car. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person in the world so my buddies will lend me a hand when it comes to stancing my car.Originally posted by Dudermagee View PostI would recommend that you stay as far away as possible from:

I'm sorry if I come off as a noob. I'm really new to the stance scene.
My buddy also mentioned camber. He said using a heat gun and bending the spring will be a cost-effective way to achieve camber. I've been looking and searching this method online and found something on the S10 (Chevy) forum. Has anyone else done this route?

Your friend is borderline retarded.
Does he happen to lick the windows in your car the odd time? Or wear a helmet?
Things to pay attention to....
