  • One Slutty Miata!

Updated Pics of The Top Off on Bottom Portion of Page 4!!!!!!!!!!

One whore of a Miata it is!
I am sure many of you are familiar with the car...well it has changed over the years, that's for sure.
I currently own the NA Miata previously owned by Paul, Kyle, and Young.
For picture reference here you go:
    Paul's setup stage 1:

    Kyle's setup stage 2:

    Young's setup stage 3:

And then when I bought it off Young for a great deal I had to somehow make the 16x9 -11 Work Schwert SC2s work so my buddy Ayed painted the front lip, rear lip, and hardtop bronze with gold flake to match the anodized bronze barrels:

    Zayan's setup stage 3.5:

and then after driving it around dragging the front lip 24/7....
my front lip broke and cracked and I went through a couple of those, got an unsafe vehicle ticket for being too low and rubbing (Shot sparks by the officer), and cracked my oilpan on the way to Hellaflush this year this it how it looked there:

I decided to trash the setup because I was never happy with the way the Work wheels looked on my car. I decided to trade my wheels with a fellow forum member Fred (Flyin'Eunos) for some 16x9.5 -20 BBS RS with 4 inch polished lips and neon orange centers LOL previously seen on Mikey's white Scion xb

Once I mounted them I figured out that I wasn't going to be able to make them fit well under stock fenders (Even when they are pulled like a mother f******) and even if I did it would not be fun to drive.
So I hit up my buddy Fred again and he helped me out big time when it came to installing the Autokonexion Type 1 flares.
The wheels still wouldn't fit without rubbing the fiberglass fender even when I put the rear camber to -7 LOL.
So what I did was put Lowes white weather stripping in between the flare and the body of the car.
With a new front lip installed and a full respray with 2011 Toyota white by 1 day paint for 400 bucks, I was very happy with the results.
    Here you go...

I love my car and it was a better and more affordable replacement to my totaled m3.
For those of you who think I got help from my parents because I'm 17, I didn't.
Every little aspect of the car is paid by me for that my GF and my car is all I have to pay for.
It isn't too difficult to build a car at a young age especially if it's just a little old miata lol.

Big thanks to Fred, Chris Foreman, Dooley, and Young Choi for the support/assistance!

I remember when my good friend Nick built those RS' for his Miata. He ended up selling them to Phase 2 Mikey. You know the rest. They look really good. I'm glad they ended up on a Miata.

wow man. I thought the car was going to be my favorite aspect of this thread, but damn do I love your honesty here. I have followed this car longterm & you're accurate at every point. character counts & to even throw out where it was painted, your inability to fit these without flares, & the fact that you had no issues with reaching out to others really says an awful lot for the man you are. I truly hope to shake your hand some day due to this alone.

in regards to the actual car, it's georgous man. to be honest, I remember when you bought this & when you were going to sell it; I remember how you got it & the slight damages that continued to accumulate on her. it seemed this roadster was going down the tubes FAST & to hear you were 16yrs. old? . . . well, the car was sure to be doomed.

ends up, that was just my ignorance. you schooled what I thought would become of this as well as your pride in modifying a car properly. love it man & really glad to see it's owned by a stud as great as yourself. sorry for doubting you earlier on.

the wheels are spot on & the orange is fun. them lips go on for days & how lucky you are to have traded them up. so much props for trying to make the brown work eventhough you ended up abandoning the idea. just more respect for taking the hard road first.

the flares are pimped on there & the white GV lip just kills it. wish I could still fit that lip even if only for a day. great job bro & definiately showin' up so many of your elders without even trying. just can't beat that sheit.

really happy over the car, your honesty, & just how well everything manifested. can you tell I'm flippin' out over here in regards to your car? - such truth. well played pimp!

Wow, all the wheel choices/looks have been nice... Latest stage of the entire car is just epic though. First miata I can say I've loved to look at, well done!

Thank you so much for all of the comments.
I am now satisfied with my car.
All that is left is some Sparco seats and maybe different wheel setup or different color centers.
In all of the recent pictures the car doesn't look too low due to the fact that the wheels are turned.
Here is a better reference as to how low the front lip sits when the wheels are straight.
                              (quick cell phone pic)

Just wanted to get the point across that my underbody/front lip is still taking a daily beating from scraping and brushing lol.
Always puts a smile to my face.
LOL the paint job was super cheap and yes there was plenty of overspray but much of it was dealt with acetone.
I was super surprised by the paint LOL!
                              It came out super nice.
Looks like a brand new car when you see it and it's beyond glossy!
