I can see getting pulled for the third brake light, clear corners maybe but neither of those are worthy of taking your plates. Read up on your laws and go to court.
I'd look into this, unless your in need of cash thus why you need to sell some parts off it.

          Same.

21 now and just started getting hassled the past year. I should go back to driving a purple minivan, never got pulled over in that beast.

yea i dont even drive the damn car but 4 months out of the entire year anyways because im at school.

people have been telling me to fight it, but at the end of the day what can i really do. He says suspension is not supposed to be altered in any way, and i don't really have an argument for that because i said they were adjustable racing coilovers...

there's always an argument to be made. i keep waiting on one of my friends to get pulled over, cause I'd love to argue a too low ticket. especially against a cop who says any modification is illegal. i'd read up on your states vehicle laws and request a trial.

it sucks you've been so repeatedly hasseled. I really do enjoy this thing; starred at it for many minutes in my gas pump thread. very refreshing to see it done with elegance, aggression, & simplicity.

please don't let it go to poop; it's worth continuing to persue & is obvious you have deep desire for the thing. for the short term of under 3yrs. it could look rather nice with blades & a lightly lowered. but then . . . well then you've just got to blow minds with the damn thing after having such a long spell of hibernation.

                  just sayin' . . .

See I get stupid tickets ALL THE TIME. In NY there's an easy remedy(I'm sure it's the same in your state although it's too late now). Whenever I get any sort of equipment violation, fix it ticket or not, I immediately go to the police station and try to have a cop sign it off. If they dont, go to a different police station. If that doesn't work, get fix it ticket form and go to your local shop and have them sign it. I've done this probably over 10 times. The cops are usually like really? someone ticketed you for that? that's bs and sign it off. Or theyll be like that's not a fix it ticket and Ill be like come on dude, and theyll write it off anyway if youre not a dick and the courts have accepted every single one.

For example when I get exhaust tickets I just tell them that it snapped in half and that I got it fixed and they go "okay looks good to me." You couldve easily done that with your suspension.

                    Im telling you it works.

Shit sucks man. Fight it as much as possible! Car is too clean to just part it out like that.

On the other hand, gotta respect the decision of having more important priorities than a car..
