whoa so much negative in one thread! i dont think that look that bad, certainly much better than stock rims imo, and the stance is about right. all id do is loose the spoiler and maybe drop the rear a smidgen more, and add centrecaps and it'd be looking ok. surely it'd only take an hour or so to paint all the bolt heads another colour? i reckon white bolt heads would look nice, particularly if you did the clear tail lights and indicators too. red and white rims on a black car is probably the most common colour scheme ever, generations of hot rod guys can't all be wrong?!

First off, I didn't do these wheels to look like McDonalds...I got a ridiculous deal on already red powdercoated barrels, and went from there with the white/yellow. I noticed afterwards it is a similar colour scheme, and I found it funny.

Thanks to all those who appreciate what I've done. Also, thanks to those who took there time to say something negative...Hope it makes you feel better about your super clean OEM+ cars.

I don't mod my cars to be an 'anti-conformist'. I mod cars the way I like to, and it just so happens it isn't the way the majority of the people do. Why is it either you mod a car like the rest of people, or do something to not conform? How 'bout I do whatever I want, and it gets recognized as unique? If I wanted polished style 5s, like almost everyone else with style 5s, I could have them.

No one remembers the boring old E36 lowered on silver style 5s...Everyone will remember the lowered E36 on ugly red/white/yellow style 5s
