It just bothers me sometimes that the whole internet asshole thing has just become 'normal' to everyone. I've joined a ton of forums, and SW is by far my favourite. When I first joined it I couldn't believe that there were almost no jerks, and everyone was diggin' what everyone else was doin'...so it kinda sucks to see the way some people on here treat eachother lately.

Meh, I think SW is still pretty **** free. With more members, comes more conflict. Everyone is a dick every once in a while especially when passionate about something. I find myself being an ass sometimes when certain things annoy me but I realize it and try to tone it down. We just need to take the focus off the negativity. If you don't like something, I feel you should say so in a constructive way and we can ALL move in a positive direction. Same goes for the the person it's directed to. You should take the criticism and say how you feel about it instead of ignoring it or throwing it back in their face and stirring shit up more.

That's because when you joined the cars were fresher, and there weren't as many threads with "CHECK MY E36 OUT", not saying you did that, (you haven't so I'm not talking any shit to you), but there was original content coming everyday, and there weren't as many kids who thought they were hot shit with their freshly lowered cars. Buts as more kids came along, and the content became more of the same, attitudes changed as well, (as you would expect). Don't worry there are a few places on here that are the same, and if you come to us with something original and truly awesome, that same SW you knew before is still there, it just takes a little more than a drop and style 5s to get the same reaction.

Are any of them on style 5s? Have many e36s on style 5s have you seen in person at meets? How many outside of car enthusiast specific meets/shows/gatherings?

Your car seems unique and cool to a couple of people on the internet but silly to a lot of others on the internet and probably absolutely stupid to 95% of the people you pass on the streets. That's my take on internet "uniqueness" I guess.

Plus I just gave you my opinion and some advice and you just brushed it off. My main piece of advice that you will probably ignore is that if you really want to come close to pulling that off, you need to go much lower.

I expected negative comments, but some people on here are just ruthless. I appreciate constructive criticism (like yours) just as much as a positive comment. But when someone just says, "no, just no" or "wtf", it just shows there level intelligence.

I just want to add though, that there are many people on this site who contribute absolutely nothing to the good of StanceWorks...Reading the comments through this thread alone can give you an idea what I mean.

Thanks again to the people who liked it, or even the ones who dislike it; but appreciate that it's something different. As for the center cap question, I am looking for a set, but they never come up for sale!

First off, I didn't do these wheels to look like McDonalds...I got a ridiculous deal on already red powdercoated barrels, and went from there with the white/yellow. I noticed afterwards it is a similar colour scheme, and I found it funny.

I don't mod my cars to be an 'anti-conformist'. I mod cars the way I like to, and it just so happens it isn't the way the majority of the people do. Why is it either you mod a car like the rest of people, or do something to not conform? How 'bout I do whatever I want, and it gets recognized as unique? If I wanted polished style 5s, like almost everyone else with style 5s, I could have them.

No one remembers the boring old E36 lowered on silver style 5s...Everyone will remember the lowered E36 on ugly red/white/yellow style 5s
