Loads of other marques are respected for the build quality, especially the Japanese, and in part I'm sure it's warranted. But here is an example of why BMW drivers are so particular about their brand.

Your car looks better than the day it rolled of the factory floor, I'm sure it will whip the asses of so many other cars in all areas and if you like misbehaving on race-tracks or the open road, you're welcome to do so leaving rooster tails of tyre smoke in the process.

I love me some e34, and yours kind sir, is the cream of the crop at the moment.
