You might as well sell it and get a e30.

I dig the car. And I know jbody cars are very popular..and you all had a huge aftermarket at one point in time. I never liked that front end over the older front, but I think it would look good tho because of that bumper.. is it a z24?

I'm really surprised that a 'boso' inspired cobalt with stupid camber on salad shooters has gotten more love than this car. I guess I'm the only one that likes this...

I think that front end conversion you're planning would benefit from cutting out that one horizontal slat and having an open grille. It would look more sporty, and well, less like a cav. Before that, however, I'd suggest getting some spacers.

Any plans to paint your lips/skirts if you end up doing the conversion? That would really set it off IMO.

Modding any car is a waste of money...lol , noone ever gets what they put in it back as far as time and money is involved!

But I agree the lip and all should be painted.

Would the grand prix gxp v8 brembos fit on the cav?

That cobalt pushed the limits for fitment on his platform. And it looked dope imo. Along with the car being very low and aggressive on decent wheels with nice stretch and poke. I also think the exhaust kind of worked with the rest of the car. Not comparable in my eyes.

See I don't really think that pushing the limit with fitment and being low is deserving of being put on a pedestal. Me personally think that fitment is a small piece of the whole pie!

But I haven't even seen the cobalt...anyone got a link to it I couldn't find it.

Definitely agree with you there. The owner was able to do some cool things, for me it was just a matter of preference.

I just like the cavalier better than the cobalt as a whole car.

if u really like the car , hey, why not!

this is porbably the best looking cavalier out there anyways..

kudos for doing what you want for your car

People need to stop telling you to buy a new car. While I may not be a fan of the platform I like your vehicle because you are doing something out of the norm, if you want to do a front end conversion do it, because at the end of the day you are building your car for yourself and not for others.

                      Keep it up bro.

Personally preference, for sure. I'm not going to rip on the cav in the OP's thread, but I couldn't disagree with you more.

                              Cobalt link.

Post your build threads here! Keep us updated on what you're doing in your garage.

I think it's unfair to compare a Cav and Cobalt, honestly. They both have a lot of work put into them, and ultimately it's going to be personal preference. Both clean cars, though.

I would not do the Extreme front (or what ever its called)..

I think the 00-02 front the best for a Cavy IMPO. Save your dollar bills and get the car painted one color.
