I was linked to a pic of my car that I hadn't seen before & thought it should be uploaded on this dead thread of mine. was told it was the background for a while on the southern worthersee website.
either way, I love the crazy angle & thought I'd share with my SW homeboys.

thanks riffman. I'd much rather somebody post something negitive than a nonexistent thought such as 'meh' whatever that means. regardless, 3 pictures in a single magazine can't be too bad & the banner for a VW website ain't to shabby either.
what I was really hoping for was some legit feedback here; which I got from a light handful of you & I appreciate it. I'm still rockin' the ASA wheels eventhough I have plenty of other sets, but I did paint the calipers & I did modify the spacers even further to have tire constantly kissing the fenders instead of 'close enough' status.
the roof rack will be gone soon enough as well as some stickers & some slight mods just to keep the overall car super clean without trying to be some hype hipster with it. I honestly love it even if I were stock. these damn cars are just beyond GREAT to me.
anyways, here how it's sittin' as of late.

a local photographer snapped some simple but rather nice pics of my sedan that I thought I'd share. Ironically, it use to be his car some time ago.
I have a couple of slight ideas to push it further than its current state if anyone could voice their criticism/ thoughts below.
^ as an aside, the coils were swapped out for rebuild in these pics.
I'm thinking on the outside:
- remove all the tints & maybe the stickers
- space the wheels out 3mm more in the front
- dtm cup mirrors or just smooth it with blanks
- amber corner lights
I'm thinking on the inside:
- illuminated OEM shift knob & leather ebrake
- paint pedals black or sell
- hard part: steering wheel - black nardi or prototipo, raid, mtech
I'll probably go ahead with all of this, but I don't know everything. we all benefit from one anothers ideas & input, so I'd be grateful if someone pointed out what I may not see.
thanks guys.

the roof rack is only installed when necessary & when I say it has stickers, you can see from the pics that its not the trendy ones. instead it's my city sticker, BMWCCA membership, & the like. regardless, it'll all be gone soon enough along with the tints.

I only used it for the event & it received photographic nods in 2 magazines as well as being part of the SOWO website banner for awhile. it was also featured in one of the videos from that year with an interview of my build attached to it. not to mention all the pictures people posted on the interwebz & cool conversations it stirred.
it didn't cost me anything & was just meant to be a corny joke. I excelled for what it was & it'll be cool to look back on in a humorous tone in the future. if it were permanent or I made sacrifices to the chassis, I would more than agree with you Alex. still, thanks for lending your respected thoughts.
if I painted the wheels, what color options would I have? I can only contemplate silver, grey or gold, but I've already done both on previous wheels so I'd care to go in a new direction.
