Old school stance, sent to jail for being too low!

I was reading "Rodder's Journal" and I saw this article of a custom '57 Corvette. On one page there was a picture of the car before it got major cutomisation. But it is sanding there, as low as a stock looking old 'vette can be. I love this picure.

So I kept on reading and I scanned a part where the owner claims he went to jail for being too low hehe There is also this whole part about hydraulics that was interesting...

I know.. Sometimes I wish I was born in the 50's... And trust me, you guys don't want to see how the car ended ...kind of "too much" custom imo. I know it was cool back then and this car is still a legend but I just don't dig how it turned out...
