Ive read a story very similar, and it was about a vette as well, but i cant rememeber where it was i read it lol!!! And i dunno if it was this one, but how many vettes on hydros could there have been back then lol

The story continues something along the lines of this.

"So after a while we got the hydraulic system working a bit more efficiently, so it didnt take as long to pump up, you would hit the button and itd be at full height within a couple of seconds. So one day we were driving down the highway, completely dropped down, passed a motorcycle cop, and he just eyeballed the car as we went past, then hooked it around to pull me over, so i hit the pump and lifted it back up.

When the cop caught up and i pulled over, he looked at the car, at full height, then at me, back at the car, and said "Im sure i just saw this car driving along touching the ground?" I told him no, asked if he had the right car, to which he replied "100%" I told him there was no way it could have been my car, check out how high it is!! He thought about it for a while, then let me go. While driving away i hit the switch to lower it again, and i could see him looking at me with the most confused look on his face, thinking he was going crazy seeing things, and we drive away laughing!!"
