Yea, Its called the X-Sonic...built by Ron Aguirre in the late 50s. He was a member of the Krankers car club who always got harassed by the local cops for having his car so low....he devised the whole vehicle hydraulics concept and gave birth hydraulics in lowriders....they used to use surplus equipment out of WW II era planes, like the old Pesco pumps and made their own cylinders to basically lift the vehicle whenever cops were around...after a while, someone realized that by adding more batteries to the setup, it would make the hop off the ground....after aircraft surplus equipment became hard to find, people began using tailgate pumps off trucks and have been using them since.....the rest is history.
