KW's all the way...You won't be happy with the springs. SUV owners never are (I have a SUV btw). I know the price diff. is big but don't rush to get springs. Save for the coils. I'm a big believer of " Do it once - Do it Right!".

can you do bags over the factory struts? that would keep the electronic dampening and allow you to ride low.

and i'd agree with the tire aspect, except its not really an SUV anymore with 550hp its pushing more sports car than anything....it needs less flex of a truck tire with huge sidewall

I think that'll bring the proportions back into check nicely. I like it. I'm a sucker for the concave BLQs, and the X5 sorta grew on me.
