I say get camber stuffs before you space the front out too much. Mine are out pretty far and I really miss being able to turn. e46 absolutely needs camber to sit even remotely flush.

That was harsh; I read a lot into your post that mightn't have been there. Apologies from a fellow E46 owner very much in need of spacers.

Oh, and I'm usually cheery as my countrymen but work has me in Detroit till Wednesday so I'm trying out the local attitude

Thank you very much! Any more info you can give me? I remember reading that you bought some camber plates that gave you 2" of suspension travel over stock hats? I'd love to have that.

So even if I get like 205's in front I'll still need plates to be anywhere near acceptable and still turn? I don't care at all about performance.

@Michael thanks! you didn't have to apologize but I really appreciate it Wow Detroit? That's a tough city, please be careful!

My car's KBB is like $5k. I'm not complaining AT ALL. There are plenty of cars that cost $20k that I wouldn't trade my car for.
amen to this, nice acs's too (if they're real )

I vinyled my B-pillar trim on the outside so it doesn't look so old. Now it's a glossy deep black instead of a greyish matte.

I maxed out my coilovers in the rear and the fronts are almost there.

My fender roller came in the mail so I'm gonna get my fitment right soon.

looked better in the original post imo, looks too "dumped" in that new pic, to run that low youre gonna need camber and spacers...really dig the wheels tho

Not bad for a 316i (you said the cheapest one, right?)

... but it could use some spacers.

Smaller tires, lower it a little more in the front, spacers, camber.

but even without those things your car looks really, really good.
