Looks much better without the roofrack! IMO the only fabric that wouldn't be tacky is #3 or #6. The amount of masking required for the shadow line is ridiculous . Car is coming along very nicely!
It's a shame you spent all that time and the paint is probably going to chip off the chome anyways. I've seen it prepped and sprayed every sort of way and it's never held up.

Everything was sanded, 2 coats of self etching primer, 3 coats of paint. I dont think its going anywhere.

Was gonna say i've seen a few done and unfortunately haven't been very long lasting, sounds like you got it sussed though man . Hope it holds out better for you bud the whole car looks awsome!
