If the paint starts to chip a better route might be vinyl. We did matte black vinyl on my buddies Mini a while back and it worked out great.

I will try to line them up as smooth as possible. I have a question though. for the sun visor panel, should I set the houndstooth diagonally or parallel with the front of the car. I think parallel would be easier and that way I can try to match it up with the A pillars.

Thanks for all the kind words. I might keep looking for some other fabrics. Not completely set on anything yet.
