I never understood why Hoodride is still followed. The original hoodride movement was in the aircooled VW community, and the guy who started wasa crook that stole form it's members. Then he got shut down. Those cars were not just "rat look" cars, but were generally dangerous, slammed cars that were pieces of junk, and not an expression of art or imagination.


Oh well.

No it's not. Far from it, just a lot of people trying to follow a trend (which happens to look terrible imo, especially when it involves purposely rusting painted parts)

OP, your car looked really sharp before the stupid fender. I really don't understand why you would purposely rust one fender. It doesn't flow with anything, the car isn't ratty in any other way, what's the point other than screaming for attention?
