    yea i kept everything labeled and in order.

    and gonna be a stock motor man. lol at least for now. my dad is fronting my the money just so i can get it running and on the road so i cant get too ambitious.

    Just a work of advise. You should keep the main caps and rod caps assembled or at least labeled where they go. Unless you are going to have them line honed. I would drop the cash to have the block hot tanked, depending on what you are trying to accomplish with it.

    stripped the block down today.



    anyone know the best way to go about cleaning the pistons? should i have the shop do it or is it an easy diy?
