anyone know the best way to go about cleaning the pistons? should i have the shop do it or is it an easy diy?

Oven cleaner works well, but I typically use aircraft remover on any aluminum parts b/c it cleans fast and rinses clean with water. (oven cleaner can leave light spotting which won't harm performance but I'm sorta OCD about my engine builds)
