30 some odd years of grime doesnt go with out a fight.




Im sorry about the boring start but it is going to get fun pretty quick.

The block and head are going to go to a machine shop to get acid dipped then its going back together. I think its going to run twin webbers and a mild cam. I am not doing too much to hop it up, this car is going to be all about style. Like I said more to come as I get more work done.

Looking forward to this build, the end result should be sick!

Today I started on my 2002 rebuilt. I dont have too much style wise right now but I will be updating as I go on.

Project of the day.... 8/2/09.....Engine tear down.

Here is there I started today.


Remember, label all parts.


After about 45 minutes, manifolds and head are off.




A little bit of carbon, but all and all in decent shape.


Time to flip her over and remove the oil pan.


Out come the guts.


Pile o' parts.


And finally an empty block.
