    Well I did a thing.

I sold my D90s and bought these.

A set of staggered Corvette Salad Shooters. Fronts are 8.5J and Rears are 9.5J

Should look like this, I've idolised this car ever since I first saw it and always wanted these wheels.

Buying adaptors in the week and picking the wheels up end of the month. Stay tuned.

I forgot to post a few updates by the way...

They're not really "stance" related, but still change the appearance of the car quite a bit.

I got bored a couple months ago and started making a new grille for the car as I was getting bored of the double slat one that is fitted as standard.

I had a spare grille knocking around so I decided to go at it with ply and filler hahaha.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I also bought lower vents that replace the fog lights, obviously the grille and fogs aren't finished as they need some gloss paint but I like the look so far.

Anyways, that's about it, I'm picking up my wheels from the lockup tonight ready for a refurb, and I've also put a bid in on some 5 x 130 adaptors for the Porsche fitment

Cheers guys! I think this coming few weeks ill be taking the spacers from the MK3 and putting them on the MK4, as I wont need them anymore with my Porsche adaptors.

I'll keep you all posted. Going to start stripping the D90's in the week.

I'll be back on the MK3 soon though now, seeing as I now have a respectable daily haha.

So guys, sorry I've not really posted yet, I haven't had much time to put into the car as I've been saving for a new daily. Just scored a PD130 MK4 Estate pretty cheap which I'm picking up tomorrow. Once I've changed the wheels and done a few jobs on it, it'll be time to start work on the MK3 again.

Sooooooo! She passed her MOT with flying colours and is now on the road. I haven't really done much to her in the last week or so except from I managed to score a black set of pillars from a Colour Concept edition, so they went in, I've also replaced my side trims for Colour Concept ones too. Tracking was done, unfortunately I had to lift the bugger by 15mm all round so he could get the tracking jig onto the wheels :/.

Lastly, I got bored with some Aluminium tape from work and did my front "16V" badge in silver. I think its an improvement.

    Anyways, here's some photos.

Got Harewood House VW Fest this weekend, don't know if anybody from here will be there, but if you see my car, pop over and say Hi

Hey guys, thanks for all your support and comments etc so far, just thought I'd let you know that updates will be coming soon

MOT is booked in for Tuesday, hope she passes, then I've got tracking etc to sort, but I've got a few other mods in the pipeline

first of all: you really need a paint polish.

i think you shouldn't just go with grey. dark colors are really hard to get right/to match right..
here are some colors i'm suggesting:

    satin gold

one of these: metallic Bronze or satin Black (hard to know if satin Black goes right with the black of the golf)

idk what this color is called but i think it would be dope on the gullideckel. (guessing it's something like metallic gunmetal. still thinking it's hard to guess if they will go right)

but if you want to go with gunmetal grey, go for matte gunmetal gray..
