Merely an 8v but it has a lumpy cam, stainless exhaust, superchip etc. Cracking drive and pulls like a train. Currently lowered on Konis.

Just been dailying it while I decide whether to sell it or make it into an even better B-road car than it already is... So it's still on those fucking gopping wheels. Got a set of Avus 2s to go on and space out a bit...

Really got a hankering for another Mk3 ABF and this car is only adding to that!

Cheers mate, I'm pretty happy with it too haha. No I haven't actually, I do really fancy a MK1 or MK2 though, I keep looking out for a MK2 1.3 for my Girlfriend as she's learning to drive at the minute and I think it'd make a wicked first car! Plus, it'll give me something else to play with haha.

For me these are best wheels for a Mk3, maybe only after a set of Modern Lines!
Haha thanks bud, I love them too, I remember seeing a minty green MK3 with them and a US boot a while back and I've loved them ever since. Modern lines are nice too I'm not gonna lie.

    Soooooo,

After a lot of angle grinding, (to get the front wheels to clear the mighty 16v brakes (; ) I finally managed to get the wheels on and boy am I happy with the results!

Fitment wise, I'm going to lift the rear slightly and add two 15mm spacers to fill the arches a bit more, I'd keep it on the deck but it needs to be driveable hahaha.

    Anyway, here's some piccys.

    Posing with my grinder

    Rear needs fettling with...

It's not all good news though
