    Cheers guys

Ahhhh I know! Tell me about it... I never realised how expensive food is, it's crazy! . Luckily we've been saving for a while now so we have a good chunk set aside.

Car wise, I have a small update for the MK3. I’ve had her stored in a crappy lockup since I bought her two years ago. Anyways, me and two mates have decided to get a bigger space between us. So we now have a unit big enough for four cars, a sink, a toilet, a fridge... And most importantly, its watertight, and has lights. We’ve got everything we need. I moved the car in Sunday and I'm happy

I’m absolutely buzzing because it now opens up a lot of different options for the car.

One of the lads (Chris) in our unit has a B4 Passat Variant, which he has just started doing a 20VT swap on, my plan is to help out and then once finished, start my own engine build, whether it be a 20VT swap, or strapping a turbo onto the ABF it currently has, I’m not sure, but I really do like the idea of Turboing a non Turbo engine. Here's his boat. He drives a pretty clean static MK5 Golf as a daily, so this will end up pretty sweet without a doubt.

The other lad (Rory) is the one who bought the Polo off of me, so that means I can still see its progression, in fact, we started stripping the engine together, the day it went into the unit haha.

The access is really good for getting lowered cars in, but the most important bit is, we have a Sofa

So, two weekends ago, I asked my girlfriend to marry me, and she said yes! BONUS! ( She's the one on the right... Obviously )

    Repping Candy:

If this build wasn't slow enough already, it's now going to get even slower as all my spare change is now going to the wedding fund . To keep this car related though, here is my Fiancée Dee with some of my cars over the last couple years:

This Polo literally used more Oil than Petrol haha!

She doesn't drive yet, but really loves her classic VW's and 80s/90s hot hatches. Her Dad used to build cars in the Max Power era for audio competitions and has owned all sorts from E30's to MK1 GTi's to 205 Dimmas and the like. So with our help too, she'll be able to find a cool first car hopefully and stay away from the financed Corsa's and Fiat 500's that every other girl seems to drive around here.

Nothing major in the way of a car update, but I did a bit of spannering on the MK4 on Friday as my Track rod end gave up the ghost. Think it needs the inner doing too though as its still super clunky and floaty steering

To further justify your point I'm going to throw this spicy update in...

Had lots of fun driving the Saloon around for a couple of months and posing like a scene kid.

Absolutely mint little motor. But there were a few underlying issues with it. We found rust. And when I say rust I mean like, full on titanic style, bottom of the ocean, not been touched for 3,000 years style rust. I'm not too phased by rust personally as I've had my fair share of experience, but I just couldn't justify having two projects and I wanted it to go to somebody who would give it the attention it needs.

Anyways, my friend Rory has been on the lookout for a project for ages, and has taken it off of my hands. SAD times but I'm happy with my decision .

So then I'm on the lookout for another daily again and guess what pops up?

I say "pops up" loosely. Basically I got rather drunk one day and decided to persuade my friend to sell the car back . Shockingly he agreed, tbh I think he would have kept it but his girlfriend thought it was too noisy haha!!

But yeah. BOUGHT the Estate back again. YAAAAAAS!

Disclaimer: I did not drive the car home whilst I was spangled haha

Guess I missed it Yes, I know it betrayed me a few times, but tbh, I'm so glad to have her back. (Even if I did have to replace a steering knuckle at the side of the road after the first week of having her back

Me and Chris working out of the back of his TT in the rain

    Happy boy.

    I DID A THING!

I'm scared, confused, excited and my arms are killing because there's no power steering

    Soooooooo.

    Not posted in a while.

Lemme get you up to speed.

Got the MK3 out about a month ago and was using it as a daily after my MK4 decided to eject the turbo out of its exhaust. FUN! MK4 is fixed again now, after a weekend of Turbo fun.

Not really done much to the MK3 recently, but realised I need to do a few jobs just to bring it back to shape ready for summer. Now its back on the road I'll be posting little updates.

In other news, I got sick of fixing the MK4, so I have sold it as of yesterday in favour of buying a small Petrol daily. Probably a MK2f Polo Coupe.

I'll continue to post updates of my daily and the MK3 too on here, but for now, say goodbye to Vera. She's gone to a friend of mine so I'll still see her around, (and probably still be fixing her every week helping out my mate hahaha)

    Insert sad emo music here:

Don't know how interested everybody is, but I'm going to start putting updates on for my daily driven Estate too, most of my time at the moment is spent on her due to sorting out rattles/niggles, interior trim I'm not happy with and also, fixing the previous owners bodges, i.e. hacksawing the anti roll bar off for scene lows .

I had 6 hours under the car the other week as I've got the mot coming up and wanted to fit an anti roll bar to get it through, dropped the subframe and removed the remaining middle piece of the old ARB, fitted my new large hoop one and short drop links (that I thought would be okay and avoid any rubbing issues) I was wrong.

Cut a long story short, I've been driving around with a 50mm raised front end looking like a melt because I'm sick of it rubbing, I've bitten the bullet and bought a TT MK1 ARB (that goes under the driveshaft this time) so that should be here Friday and will most likely be going on on Sunday, I've also bought some new Polybush front strut mounts, and front roll bar bushes. I'm hoping, really really really hoping, that this should sort the issues and I can have hot boi stance once again

If not, I fear that my car may be "accidentally" stolen and torched haha.

I'll post on Monday if the mission is a success, also got a 4motion lip coming as I h-a-t-e the JOM Airblade one it came with.

Here is a picture of my friend Chris holding my subframe like a fisherman.

    So, not much recently...

Bought some bigger spacers for the rear and in turn putting the 25mm that was fitted, onto the front.

I finally fit the standard airbox that I had laying around for ages and replaced the oil breather pipe. Also took my battery out and painted the tray and the shifter ballast as they were a bit scabby.

Going to remove the bumper ducts and get them sprayed gloss black, along with the grille. My rear lights also decided to stop working so I'm going to have to check the wiring/fuses. JOYS
