Thanks for your comments guys. She's certainly come a long way.

I agree about the wheels but with living costs and saving for a house, at best, I'll be able to get the Kontours polished. Maybe next year I'll treat myself to some Hartge's

Ladies and gents I need some opinions please.

I'm considering a despoiler. My rear spoiler needs a respray, the third brake light isn't connected and I'm not sure if I want it on there anymore.

      Opinions and possibly examples, please

Ps New tyres are going on next month 195/40/17's (8.5j rears 8j fronts) all round with 10mm spacers (would like wider please but funds don't allow this at the moment)

For me I like wings on a e36 saloon.
Maybe you should repaint it an clean the third breaklight or just get another wing without an third breaklight. A Gt-Wing would be nice, but expensive.

I do like the GT wing but my cars a diesel for one thing and as you said, it is expensive.

I might whip it off at the weekend. If I like it I'll source a new boot, if I don't I'll repaint the spoiler. I just think now, it's suitably low enough, it would look a lot cleaner without the spoiler

On the other side i think it is okay to get rid of the wing. You have a nice classy theme going on on your car and the wing might be too sportive for it.

              Diesel or not, who cares?

                  Morning all,

Done a few things to the BM this weekend, had a lot of fun getting some new tyres on Saturday morning, needed to replace the rear tyres so went for a set of four as I wanted to get a bit of stretch all round but to get a set of four tyres on a Saturday morning is apparently quite difficult. Ended up travelling to Southend from Chelmsford to pick up a set of four from National Tyres main supplier. I recommend speaking to Dan at National in Chelmsford if you need any help with anything, if you're local. He seems quited clued up and the bunch down there are very helpful.
Once I got my new tyres and a McDonalds breakfast sorted for me and my mate I set around resolving the issue of my flashing ABS light and Range not working, I knew it was wiring related as it started happening shortly after I retro fitted my OBC, turns out one of the pins had soiled itself and was making a connection with another pin and was causing all sorts of trouble, I just removed them for now with only issue of still not having a Range counter on the OBC but as the consumption is wrong I'm fairly confident the Range won't be too accurate either, i'll sort these out properly soon. While I had my instrument cluster out I painted my needles red with some hobby model paint my friend had lying around and the results are great, looks a treat 8)

I also found I had some light tinting spray left in the boot so I gave my front indicators a very light smoke as they looked almost white against my headlights.

Whilst I was monkeying around with the old girl I had a check underneath to see how she was looking for rust etc and noticed my 18 month old exhaust was looking a bit rusty so I rubbed a fair bit of it down with a wire brush to clean it up and hammerited it black to prevent any further rust.

Next on the list is two new rear bearings, not looking forward to the bill for that but, that won't be done now until October after my holiday and I'd like to get my car on the ramps where my friend works one weekend, get the wheels off, give her a jet off on the underside and apply some sort of sealant to the whole underside ready for another cold and wet British winter.

                  Thanks for reading.

                  Matt 8)
