So its been some time since the last update, I've mainly been driving and enjoying the car during the summer season and traveled to a couple of meets, C&C and such

Anyway now that winter is coming the car has been put into hibernation and as usual it will undergo some maintenance and upgrades.

Lately the car hasnt been prioritized due to work on my S13 driftcar.

in short the S13 was bought some years ago completely disasemmbled with all the parts needed for a complete driftbuild shoved away somewhere in the garage.

lately it's gotten a R33 brakeupgrade, some steering angle mods and a fuelcell setup 90% complete, will take some pics of this later on

The rollcage built by the P.O was a hasty and complete sh't job so have started building a new one, hopefully the driftcar is ready for next season.

Plans for the S14 however is rebuilding all of the suspension components, rust repair and undersealing the car with bedliner of some sort. this + the usual S-chassis upgrades.

Pulling the subframe and various components, going to get glassblasted and painted, will get poly bushings everywhere aswell.

Got some new oem metal fenders from a Sportline Edition 200SX, these will get widened and a blinker delete, also glassblasting these

Cage for the S13 is nearing completion, waiting on the final bits of piping then we can move along to the fuel system and assembling and prepping for paint

Picked up some wider 3 inch outerlips for the front, also test fitting with oem fenders before widening.

Polished some spare outerlips I had laying around before putting them up for sale, both were in the same condition as shown on the before and after.

Here you can see the diy workbench with a polishing machine, also the Advan 2 piece wheels for my daily driver ED6 Civic, all restored for next summer.

Got sidetracked and started on a Pod in the drivers door vent for a wideband gauge, not good at fibreglass and all that but we'll see how it turns out.

''Sanded'' down some of the rear suspension arms to bare metal, all got 2 layers of acid primer before 3 thick coats of black hammerpaint, currently waiting for new bushings.

Dropped the idea of having the suspension parts sandblasted as a friend of mine has an acid bath at work,
so the cradle/rear subframe will be taking a bath over night before getting the same treatment as the rest of the suspension parts.
Hopefully it will turn out great and not be as prone to rust as these old Nissan are here on the coast in Norway

Done a few more things this week

Continued disassembling suspension bits, will need new ball joints for sure. Also dont mind the brake discs, they'll be replaced soon enough

Got all the old rubber bushings burned out of the subframe, used a screwdriver for the most part and should really insvest in a hydraulic press for the future..

Recieved my new poly bushings, the main ones ( not the diff ones ) were for the wrong car and didnt fit so have to wait some more
The whole suspension restoration is a lengthy procedure but in the end when it's all done the S14 will have a thighter rear end than half my Instagram feed.

In more exciting news, my buddy with a R32 GTR racecar got his widebody fenders I think theyre from Pandem but not really sure.
Anyhow the Skyline is seriously wide now and in desperate need for some wider rims

Had the exhaust shield glassblasted and zinc primed, the fuel tank shield is in rough condition so we'll see what happens here.

Decided to remove the fuel tank, as going through all this work and not undercoating on the topside of the fuel tank would be half-a**ed.

I got a bad case of ''While im doing this, I might aswell'' during this project so decided to upgrade the stock fuel pump for a genuine 255Lph Walbro.

Got the rear subframe back from Acid Bathing, It didnt fit in the tank so had to do it in two stages.
We also took the decision that a plate on the subframe seemed weak so welded this aswell.
My friend who did the subframe decided acid bathing was not enough so it also got glass blasted,
Then I Zinc primed it and have started adding coats of different rust preventive primer before several coats of durable black hammerpaint next.

Did some more work the other day

Removed the oil cooler and pump for the differential. It has seen better days so not sure if I'll rebuild it or run without it.

A previous owner has hacked the battery tray to pieces and it didnt look right to me

An easy fix to the problem, squared up the hole so a plate could be riveted in. Grinded and zinc primed the surrounding area.

Attached a bracket for the resirc/diverter valve. Did this so the hoses would be easier to route and not have sharp turns.

And fitted, still needs some paint but we'll get there. I dont put too much time into all of this since next winter I'll most likely remove the engine and paint the entire bay.

A friend of mine started to work on his S14, this car has been used as a race/driftcar the past 10 ish year, so interestingely enough he will build it back to oem spec and get it street legal once again.

This car is running a GT2871R with a screamer pipe and puts down over 300whp, seriously fun to ride in with the bucket seats and harness.

Finally got my subframe bushings after getting the wrong ones twice, so after a refund I opted for bushings from Driftworks.

Got my hands on another SR20, Its a notchtop from an S14. off course it has spun a bearing but no worries, perfect time to forge it. Will be used in the S13 when the CA blows up.

The next update might be some time away as I want to have bigger updates thats more entertaining and more progress to show for.

This is the more boring part of a project car, its still important but maybe not as entertaining as exterior work or performance upgrades.

Its been a slow month since last update, have mainly been helping others around the shop, also built an exhaust for an Audi S8 V10. Ended up as an straight x pipe with 4 mufflers deleted.
Really made the 5.0 V10 Lambo engine sing, will get an soundclip for you guys in the future.

Still managed to get some work in on the S14 and S13.

The cage is finally done on the S13 driftcar. came out better then expected

Differential got some paint, also recieved the last bushing for the subframe so now as soon as I get new balljoints the whole rear suspension will be assembled.

To finish up I gave my brother my daily Honda Civic EF as he needed something to commute to school with.

So.. I needed a new daily and considering all the parts for S-chassis I have horded and those not needed on the driftcar, I bought an S13 Hatch

Some specs : Ca18det with bolt ons and GT2871R turbo. various stage 2 mods so around 250 HP, first thing I did to it was an VLSD from a S14

Also got a new gauge setup for it, went with electric ones from Stack LTD. All wired up with sensors installed.

Updating the Futuras for this season, went with a square look, 17x10 on all 4's. test fitting the rears.

And the fronts. Keep in mind the chargespeed overfenders are 25mm wider than oem, currently working on widening the oem.
