Had some spare time at work today (Well it's end of year and everyone has gave up with work so yeah), so i decided to do my rear door cards this morning.

Tin of spray glue, some cardboard to lie on and some patience, and they're now done. Sub and lower door cards next and that'l be one portion of the interior done!

The Headlining is a GTI headliner that my friend Georgia is kindly swapping for my current one as she's selling her car on!

Need to cop a pair of corsa ammo too, I'm running on bumpstop right now. Did you already pick short springs?

Went with a tasteful 1.0 dish over the 1.5, quick test fit on the barrel showed how they're going to be bang on.

Also, my Corsa B rear dampers have arrived. Arse of this thing is going to be touching the ground!

One last push over Xmas, and thats the main portion of the car done. Interior and decals will be the last bits to be done!

So, another large chunk is out the way!

Cleaned the tails up before putting them back in, caked in dust!!

Front end is on at last. Still needs some alteration as i'm not happy with the panel gaps as it stands, the bonnet also sits slightly too low in relation to the front of the wings when latched, but i think this is due to the fact the front wings need to move down a bit. Very very happy with how it is going however!

and on a serious note, I may want you to create a subtle vinyl for the side of the coupe.
Yep, i can sort that. All i need is a simple drawing with some context, i'll get the info sent straight over to my friend (he knocks up all the templates, drawings etc for me) who also produces the stickers! He operates as Hoot Designs

Lips are arriving today. Corsa B rear dampers arrive Saturday, and so should me door card/sub trim. Seriously confident that this will be the last week of it in bits.

    I'm gunna give it 6 months before i need a new subframe/air.

It's already attracting those mystical creatures called Women too, yay

FINALLY found my Dads old custom made gear knob too, this was originally off a 1932 Ford Coupe, then a 1966 MK1 Cooper s. Hopefully i can make it fit!

Just need to work out how i'm going to attach the gator too the knob now! I don't want any material flapping about!
