Btw I forgot to mention, I deleted the stupid looking headlight wipers. Could stand them, pointless here in the northwest. Also I order new headlight bezel just because mine were sun faded and cracked. Here are some before and after pictures. I was thinking about getting the one piece euro headlights but with my budget ill stick to these for now. But with the deleted wipers it looks so much clean!
I also resprayed the grill with trim restorer and my bumper black moldings, it looks a lot better refreshed the look of it

Jorgen, sorry but I can't seem to remember what size the reducers were, I will take a look later in my messages with a couple of W124 friends and see if I mentioned it. i ran them without the reducers for a few weeks but then I just went to the hardware store and snagged them. I would get the rear lower shock bolts out, buy the SAAB shocks( I can post a link for the part number and everything), and find a reducer accordingly. Also DANO to get the front springs out on all my benz from that generation I put a jack under the control arm and remove the bolt on the side of the steering knuckle. Then you SLOWLY lower the jack until as much tension as you can release is out and then I used a pry bar to yank it out (DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF THE SPRING IT WILL SHOOT OUT) Not very fast but it always is different. Once you cut them this process is super easy and suspension on w124's is a breeze.

thank you for the input Evan, I for now I just cut my original springs got 400e springs just in case not sure if they are stiffer but I got them just as a spare of set. and got shortened struts for the back, the self adjustable, for the front ill ride the originals until they give out then ill consider a better set up. Or I should just make it right the first time.. lol. kind of being lazy about it

I fitted my oz racing 3 piece monoblocks, kind of pokes in the rear but still pretty excited to see this thing start to come together.

Its a slow build, with everything that I have going on at the moment. Did you have a 4door like mine? you have a thread about it? Car might go but I'm keeping the wheels, got a w114 stashed away to build next

thank you, it took me awhile to get used to the color. I was very surprised as well. not common that pick-n-pull has stuff like this laying around
