so i finally decided on a color. i was trying to decide what color and i chose a navy blue and i wasn't even considering it. so i did a crappy spray out with out prepping or anything

and then i threw one of the hub caps on to see what it looked like

a couple more pictures of what the front fitment looks like before i get the drop spindles

I started cutting up the front. I don't even have my drop spindles yet, it's gonna be plenty low. Right now the fender should be 4.5" off the ground and I have 2.5" drop spindles coming

Definitely my favorite as far as classic trucks. The body lines are unlike anything else. Super unique and coolOriginally posted by Scape-Zs View PostI AM IN! Love a good mid-60's c10

with being at a stopping point until the over axle bag mounts come we moved onto the front. we got the upper bag mounts welded in and then ran out of argon so no more welding until i get a new tank

after getting a bunch of stuff cut out of the way i was able to see how high up the axle will go. based on my measurements the body should be about 4.5" off the ground aired out. and i also have 2 inch blocks coming so it should be really freaking low

now for the real build. Once i pulled the truck out i got i got antsy and i started ordering parts.
i ordered:
-a level 1 bag kit from BC Fab
-8" notch from BC
-over axle bag mounts
-all new precision cab seals from freds truck parts
-new rear bumper
-CPP drop spindles
maybe more stuff but i don't can't remember right now, I'm sure ill remember when it comes in the mail.
opened up the notches and they are super super high quality i was actually pretty surprised. all the pieces fit together amazingly. i don't know why i was surprised everything i have gotten from BC Fab has been great quality

i did have to get them modified alittle bit so they meet the bottom of the frame and fit a little bit better.
