I honestly dont know where to start lol........
here are pics

After loads of rust and learning how to weld, I semi-completed the car in Jan-Feb w/s52 swap, It was fun for a bit. I even took it to auto-x and did well for my first time out on the car.

Long story short, the car still needed more work. I have decided to strip the car down and attempt to go for something different.

So the flares are going
everything else is going....
I got new meat...

I got a wrecked ap2 s2000 that will be my donor for suspension and engine.

Started cutting away and taking measurements

rough stages still. the gloss black point is just KBS rust seal.

Note, interior paint is temporary. Its just to prevent temporary rust.

in a nut shell.....
the
car
is done....
but i still got to tiddy up some things
-windshield nozzles not installed
-install passenger door window
-install door seals
-figure out the rattling from the doors.
-Va state inspection which i will have it ready to pass
-install stiffer springs currently the car has 400 front and 325 rear but ill explain more why i am changing these.
-clean up the wiring inside
-eventually get the electronic power steering to work
-enjoy the car for the 2016 race season
First auto x Feb 28 NASA event at VMP
On Feb 20th I went to my favorite shop PTuning in Manassas,VA for a corner balance and 4 wheel alignment
the final result for my corner balance with a 200 lbs ballast for driver
LF 703 lbs RF 636 lbs
LR 727 lbs RR 664 lbs
Cross 49.93%
Car weight w/o driver 2530
Car weight w/ driver 2730
the car has 49/51 weight distribution which caught my off guard. I really wasn't expecting that.
The car also surprised me with the weight.... I was really hoping to be at the 2000-2300 mark.
But I think I can figure out how to shed more weight my ideas are
-rear lexan windshield
-rear quarter windows lexan
-driver and passenger windows lexan
-Fiber glass hood and trunk
-light weight battery
-aluminum front fenders?
- lighter wheels? lol idk
These are my alignment specs
Front Right Left
Caster 5.8 5.8
Camber -2.7 -2.7
Toe 0 0
Rear
Camber -2.4 -2.4
Toe 1/16" 1/16"
onto the pics....

rear exhaust utilizing e60 bmw oem muffler, and vibrant resonator at the end, I really didn't want to make this car super loud.
