So the day after i put the coils in, the sump was gone,(a very very slow leak maybe would take 8weeks to empty the whole pan, before i drive it i check the oil and then i fill it up, it leaks so slowly so nothing to stress about )

yes i know how to drive a lowered car, but this is a volkswagen problem making shitty alloy sumps, so now am fitting up a 12v VR6 sump from a mates old mk3 thats been laying around it hold 3/4 less oil but oh well, its made from steel and will have a bash plate welded on as well!!

Will take some more photos and update some more photos of when we lowered the car but for now the photos above will do for you if you guys and girls wish.

This thread has confused me. 1/3 VW with a wheel whores sticker on stock wheels, 1/3 "JUST DO IT' font inspirational quote banner, and 1/3 water skiing or whatever you guys call it in didgeridoo land. Slam this thing and get those wheels you test fitted on. Did that Jetta come with the engine bay like that or are those cover panels custom? I love the way the bay looks.

to reply to the stickers,
wheel whores - i have more sets of wheels laying around they're all for different cars and different builds,
the Defyallodds sticker on the rear is because I'm apart of Defyallodds and its how i can make some extra dosh on the side of working,
the majority of the stickers are coming off when i finish my wheels matey boy

The bay as well man
Its a vr6 4motion Bora, that covers didn't come like that no, i have cleaned up the bay a lot and have done a custom paint on the cover to make it different from the rest and just really cleaned it and a lot of the wiring was tangled and i just unplugged it all and untangled all of it and put it all back. also the Pod filter/air filter is just a universal one, just to update the look of the car and to give it a bit more flow

Car still needs to be lower, as i need r32 lower control arms, Drop links for the sway bar, and a few other things will help make it a bit lower and ride a bit better, along with all new bushings and all.
but the look I'm going for this hight will work and with my side skirts front lower lip and rear valance it'll look a bit lower as well
The car also has -10mm Strut top bushings from Powerflex UK

the dampening is as stiff as it can be, but still gives an awesome ride and not overly bouncy at all, but the way the car drives is so much better !!


Wheels should be acid dipped to get all the old paint and all that crap off it !!
then will go off for paint

I am very happy as these beauty's arrived
Will be installing on Wednesday night, as i didn't get the chance over the weekend as the beautiful missus took me away for a water ski and on the boat up the coast of NSW

So some info on the coils

Bc Racing Coilovers
Type BR for a good street ride
Have the ability to soften and harden the dampening
and the coils are fully adjustable and interchangeable

Will be getting IDF plates For the rear so the axle doesn't sit too far forward

as much as I love the wheels, 17s are too small for the mk4 chassis imo

Ive figured that 18's are just a tad too big for the look I'm going for and theres a lot of mk4's on 17's
