Finally getting around to starting one of these.

A little backstory...I've owned a few cars, 2 STIs, IS350, A5, S4, A4... but this is my first ever BMW. I have always been a ///M fan but never gotten the chance drive one. I was currently in a '10 A5 and not even had it a year before I started to realize it just wasn't what I wanted, it was beautiful on the inside and out but it lacked power BAD, it was just a 2.0T but I had problems with the turbo and had it replaced under warranty but I don't think it ever work correctly. I had been on my current job awhile and was finally to the point where I could handle purchasing something I really wanted. I started looking around and decided I wanted the best combo of power, luxury and performance. After some research I realized an E92 M was exactly what I wanted. I looked around and found one in the next town over and it was pretty much everything I wanted, wasn't a huge fan of the interior color but that can be replaced. Long story short I drove to check it out, fell in love and the rest is history. This will be somewhat of a slow build especially at first because I'm waiting for winter to be over before I do any big changes. I want to someday go SC but for the time being I'm going to max out the NA V8 power and give it a nice stance as well.

    Here she is:

    2009 BMW M3
    Jet Black with bamboo interior
    DCT
    EDC
    CF roof
    19s

Around 75k miles currently as I do daily her.

    Mods so far:
    CF kidneys
    CF side grilles
    Jet Black side markers
    All black roundels
    12mm/20mm f/r spacers
    LUX ** Angel Eyes
    FI valvetronic full catless exhaust
    BPM Stage 2 Tune

First couple when I brought her home:

Heres probably the most recent shot:

        Thanks man!

Have some goodies in the garage

Hopefully will put these on by April, I want to wait till all this shitty weather passes, plan on keeping this build static.... for now I also have to decide on what BBK color I'm going to go with, I'm thinking either yellow or 24k gold which will go well with the wheels once I show those.

Welcome, wheels and coilovers are a great choice so far.

Personally I do think that being static or going air is more about how the usage of the car will be.

              Have fun with it!

Thanks man. I do drive it everyday at the moment but hopefully I can change that one day. Honestly I just need to educate myself on bags more, I'm not too familiar with them and just worried about longevity and maintenance should something malfunction. It is funny seeing the M "purists" have an aneurism over someone putting them on one

Thanks! Been following your build, really looking good man.

I'll be posting something other than black and white later...

Still trying to decide on what size tires to go with, they are 9.5/11 widths and I would like some stretch but I don't really want to run smaller than stock size tires. At the moment I'm thinking about running 245/35 and 275/30 but open to suggestions.

Finally got around to taking off my spacers today in preparation of fitting my new wheels.

                        Bye bye fake flushness

These aren't too bad to take off but its not very fun either...

After all that it was time for a little test fitting and see what the wheels will kinda look like...

Thats all I have for now but I am VERY, VERY, VERY pleased with how they looked

I'm really excited to get them mounted and dialed in. I am still trying to decide if I want to use the sleeve kit I have or sale it and get a real coilover setup. Decisions, decisions

Also had Mike over at BPMSport do some coding for me tonight, Mike is the man and I highly recommend his services.

                          The main thing I had him do was the corner amber delete on my headlights. I haven't got around to taking any pictures yet but it looks just like this;
