Man this tread is funny and sad at the same time, im curious to the outcome of this horrorjob!

Was the incentive offer of money or violence? Maybe you should do both, either way the final week of next month sounds like there's hope of seeing this thing maybe even as early as 2018.
Exciting.

Just to let everyone know...
I'm not dead...
I made a fucking ridiculous incentive offer to the shop owner to finish the car...
Supposed to get it in the final week of next month.
Pictures as they roll.
This sounds better when you post it in the right thread...

Teheeee
If I lived in Sonora I would have face melting problems from the stupid heat, and probably would have moved to the US already.
I live in Jalisco, way in the middle
Updates will happen on a near future.
Priority is House/e38/924/quit job/be happy.

I messaged that guy for a deal on both windows and the crash bar... hope we can arrange something.
ebay... why I did not think of that, sometimes I wonder if I have some type of disease that dumbness starts populating all areas of the brain.

The car has armored windows also, but a least from the photos they look in good shape!

I found this E38 front door crash bar: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E38-Fron...-/170958510415
Couple things:
1) The listing only says "front" (not driver/passenger) but the picture also makes it look like it's reversible. Anybody know?
2) Part number in the pic is 8215309/B, but googling that number isn't much help. Maybe check the number on your car?
3) It says on eBay that it won't ship to Mexico BUT the website of the company listing the part (http://www.pantritrading.com/bmw-e38...r-8215309.html) says they do ship worldwide.
Maybe a direct e-mail will grease the wheels.

Hey people of spamfree stanceworks!
I request your help...
I am searching for a pair of used front windows, security glass, not the armored 5" thick one, the double layer anti theft ones.
The rears got fixed in an autoclave oven but the front ones cracked and now I don't have front windows, had some custom made but the quality was not on par on what I want. ( maybe I will post that some day )
Also need the crash bar of the drivers door or a complete door.
If you know someone parting out an e38 with these parts please let me know...
Going to bimmerforums to post the same thing.. Wish me luck..
/Kisses.

I don't know If I mentioned this before but the guys that kidnapped the bmw were doing some painting on the house, and they could not focus on 2 things at once..
That is why this has taken horrendously long, and well obviously the fact that body shops use another type of time that we are not used to.
