Ok.. Update.. Finally...
So after many years...
You see the pictures on the post above... Well I didn't like the outcome.. the color was nice.. it just didn't do anything for the car..
So.. back to:
Yes yes I know.. but If I waited so much.. what is another much...
This time it will be San Marino Blue. *crosses fingers*
But the other thing after the wheel drama..
Not in the specs I wanted, not in the sizes I wanted, and not in the offsets I wanted.. but we have wheels.
ok thats it for now.. see you in 2 years for next update!

Paint has some flaws, it did not end up like I wanted... like anything is... ha...
I was asked if I wanted to repaint or wait till I finish building it, so I just took the opportunity to get it out of there.
Supposedly car will be ready to pick up this Friday. will that be true? or true in what condition?... gotta wait till Friday I guess.
I'm going there today later after work.. will snap a couple of pictures and post them.
Cheers

Everyone has their "fuck this shit" moments every now and then, just let it pass and you'll get back to work on it more than before

however, this car is still pretty much one of my favorite cars ever, so it will be finished... I just have not searched for a new place to finish the job.

But there's no sort of "standard recipe" E38 builds like there are with more common platforms.
At the very least, these are good "interim" wheels while you search for your dream set.
Work VS-XX w/ step lips
Schnitzer Type-2
BBS LM (first set are reps, not sure about the Imola car)
