Couldn't agree more my man. Got the car, a rabbit pick up tail gate, a free front recaro from an older fox body, a diesel 1.6, and a new interior harness all for free over the past 5 months or so haha

Yeah they were quite the oddball. They had made them as a two door saloon, a 4 door, and a 2 door estate. Very awkward platform.

July 11th, 2015 a friend and i journeyed down to Connecticut to pick up a fox wagon that we found listed on facebook for free. i fell in love..... hard. zero strings attached, except i had to miss my 1 year anniversary to pick it up. (i have one of the two left, and im not posting about some dumb broad ) hahah

1989 Vw Fox, 125k on it, motor torn apart, and ZERO wiring in the whole thing.. within a matter of a month i had it stripped and an interior sorted out.





















My over all plans are to put an na 1.6 diesel in it that a buddy has gifted me into it mated right up to the stock 4 speed. diesel for the win.. now heres the real parts on the build... i would like to....
-Tub the inner aprons in the bay
-build my own harness for accessories to my own fuse block
-replace front recaro and pass. seat with a bench seat
-pull interior from front bench back
-lay down custom floor (cut from the bed of a truck, then rhino lined)
-custom rhino lined rear full length door cards
-build some front coilovers
-take a rabbit tail gate and set it up as a divider behind the front seats
-weld rear windows shut to form a panel van
-add a tow hitch
-fuck shit up

any questions? yeah me too......
and ideas? please let me know, id love some opinions

cheers to progress. not looking for a stance warrior, just a fun little daily in town putter... maybe have some fun at the local shows, wolfsgart, mk1madness, and the likes.

very clean body, and i have alot of the mentioned parts, the car, and the 1.6 diesel motor for all under 150 dollars. not too bad.
