My indicator kept popping off in my Polo too, there was literally no way to fix it as the clips snapped off and I can't afford a new indicator at the moment haha

Wheels still looking real good man interested to see it with the spacers on

It was the headlight flapping about that made the indicator fall out!
I didn't realise until put a spare one in!
      All sorted now though.

Hopefully everything will be here and fitted by the end of next week.

          Small update,
The HID's I ordered were faulty so I'm going to return them, got a replacement set else where which seem to be spot on.
My spacers turned up, but I think I'm going 20mm on the front and 10mm on the back now, so will see how they fit tomorrow night, I'll get some pics once they're on.
At the end of the week I'll be ordering some new foglights and trying to find headlight lenses/ headlights because one of mine has a stone chip in it and the other is chipped across the top.
          That's all for now.

I finally managed to get my spacers on the car after having some trouble with wheel bolt lengths!
The audio in the car is now complete as well, got my old sub back and an amp off a mate, tidied all of my previous wiring up so the boot is nice and neat.
Here are some phone pics of the fitment now, I really need to get a camera.

They are sitting pretty much where I wanted them, nice and flush so I'm happy with the wheels now.

What have you gone for audio wise?

                Cheers
Audio is all pretty low end to be honest.
Kenwood sub with a Boss amp.
Kenwood 4 channel, JVC 6x9's in the back (in the car when I got it) Components up front (also in the car)
                And an Alpine head unit.

I used to have a really nice set up which I had in a few cards which was:

                Alpine head unit
                Hertz HSK and ESK components.
Genesis Profile 4 and Profile sub amps
                And a Diamond D3 sub.

Sound quality was excellent but I sold most of it when I got the M3

This is the first time I have had anything to update in a while.

Going forward it will only really be general maintenance for this car.

Recently I have replaced the passenger window motor and got that working for the first time since I bought the car.

Engine wise I have changed the spark plugs and camshaft sensor which have gotten rid of a small missfire and improved responsiveness so I'm pleased with that.

Other than that I have just been hoarding parts waiting for the good weather.

List of things still to be done:

                  Gearbox Oil
                  Diff oil
                  Gearbox mounts
                  Flex disk
                  Main prop bearing
Drivers side rear wheel bearing (might not need doing could just be a noisy diff!)
                  Gear shifter linkage refresh

I'll probably need a whole day to get the lot done in one go but it should improve the drive of the car massively so I'm looking forward to getting it all done

                    General maintenance update.

                    So it's a boring one

Spent a day a few weeks ago getting all of the above done.

It was all a bit long winded but eventually got everything done other than the main prop bearing.
The drive has improved a lot and feels much smoother.

Next on the list is to get my wheels rebalanced, possibly track rod ends and them a pair of head lights and fog lights to tidy the front up.

I keep looking at other wheels but nothing is really making me thing I want those over the throwing stars, I'll keep looking I suppose!

Had another issue with the car, lost the passenger front indicator again!

But this time it managed to snap the wiring so I lost the plug.

Luckily after posting up a wanted ad on Facebook I manged to source a replacement plug and a pair of headlights

I got the plug soldered back on and have a clear spare indicator on for now, and over the next week or so I will swap the headlights over.

I'm thinking of running twin projectors to change the front up a bit, and I've got new foglights on the way as mine are misty and cracked.

Not much to update, the front has come down another 10mm or so.
I've replaced the headlight glass so no more hole and chipped glass!

I went to the Vanity BMW show on Sunday at Beaulieu with Herts BMW Owners Club.

Had a good day, the museum was good to have a nose around and the car did fine on the 4 hour drive each way which should have only taken 2 hours!!!

The Throwing stars are sold and new wheels are on.

They are Artec L in 17x10 et40 rear with a 10mm spacer and fronts are questionable, I was told they were 17x8.5 et35 but they're definitely not.

Originally the fronts were 17x8 et35 so they have had wider lips at some point.

And I'm running a 15mm spacer up front which suggests the wheels are 17x9 et22 but I'm not 100% sure.

Any way here are some pics:
