Got tired of the stretched tires. Opted for some Mandrus Emil wheels for the time being.

18x8.5 et35 all around. 8mm spacer up front and 10mm in the rear.

Cool car, but those tail lights really let the whole car down. I remember when these were new, all I could think of was why mercedes opted for cloudy red instead of something LED or at least a bit more translucent and modern.

Love how this car looks on the Emil's, keep it up!

Those headlights look like they could use a polishing.

Thanks much. I thought the tails looked great until I read this and now my eyes are drawn back to them with disappointment.

Is there an OEM option that looks nicer?

C-Class (W203) - Official C-Class Picture Thread - This is the Official C-Class Picture Thread. Please post all pictures of YOUR C-Class, do not post pictures of cars that are not owned by YOU. Do not post more than 2 pictures of your car. This is better than browsing all the different websites looking for C-Class...

Look through there, good links posted. Not quite OEM, but OEM inspired off of the W220's LED tail lights..

I purchased some studs and specialty splined nuts to aid with this. Along with it, I picked up spacers for the front.

                    Specs:
                    20 - M12 shank studs, 1.5 thread pitch and a total length of 2.25".
20 - Open ended splined nuts
                    2 - 10mm hubcentric spacers
As far as I know, all RWD Benz's have the same issue with the lugs touching the E-brake assembly. That Way I destroyed mine on the W124 on the way towards a meeting.

My W209 CLK has the same issue (which is logical as it shares the same chassis with the 203's).
I think even my Dads W164 has the same construction...

I pay around €50,- for a set of 20 lugs here in Europe.
But swapping over to studs may be a nice solution though

They look good, I'll keep an eye out for a used set locally.

Nice, the studs work great, I've had 0 problems thus far.

Hey, La Mirada - you're my neighbor.

Digging the new wheels much better. Did the engine issue just go away on it's own!?

I just drove through Hacienda Heights coming back from Puente Hills area.

The engine issue did go away after properly retoquring cam assembly and flushing all fluids.

I can't believe its already been a year since I got the Benz. It has had no problems and the only routine maintenance required is changing out the wheels and tires constantly.

After I traded the Emils to another SW member, I went with some sl55 turbines

                                then BBS CH

                                then BBS RSGT

                                now AMG BBS 2pc wheels
                                not pictured

                                Happy New Year SW!
