Really liking this, M sport kit looks amazing, but for me personally theres far too much meat on those tyres, lower profile and less width needed, the RHs didn't stand out like they should have because of the huge rubber, as an example E39 style 32 wheels never looked good until they were put on an E36/E46 with stretched tyres.
Yes totally true... this e39 eat 18'' especially with small centers/big lips...but now RH will be on one nice e46 328ci, they looks amazing at rear on e46.
19'' Schmidt rims lips/barrels and BBS RT222/223 (Bmw Style 108 from Z4) centers will be bonded together into something very nice and rare...
18'' Style 108 / BBS RT222/223 18x8
Test probe onto lips for measuring (20bolts BBS fit directly on 40 holes Schmidt lips) only minor cutting of edges will be required..
First setup will be 19x8,5 and 19x9,5 untill centers are 100% finished and ET is measured for E39.
Plan is to buy new Radinox rear lips 4-4,5'' to be final setup 19x9,5 front and rear 19x10.5
very cool! I enjoyed reading your thread. And clean e39, I like your new wheels!
Thanks, there is a lot stuffs to add...continue following
In some point Airride was option to add, but here in Croatia is hard to pass TUV without certificates and...blabla shits around that...until i don't find way how to make it road legal it will be like this.
