So, I tried this once before. Lost the thread, found it, realized I knew nothing when I started it, lost again to forget my mistakes, started drinking more whiskey and tried again.
I bought this marvelous hunk of garbage in the summer of 2013ish. Probably paid too much and didnt look into how the car had been kept prior to my purchase.

Wheels were ok but had been plastidipped and tires were garbage. Upon driving it, found it rode like a wooden wagon. Turned out to be on Megan lowering springs and some mis-matched oem/kyb/unkown struts.
SO I DID THE ONLY SENSIBLE THING AND BOUGHT RACELANDS YUSSSS

[/IMG]
I know, I know.
They rode way way way better then the old sunk suspension and didnt destroy my wallet. Along with the ricelands I bought some adapters for the old wheels off my Z3. No clue what brand they really are but they sit at 17x8.5 and I was happy with that.

Got it close but the offest was all sorts of fucky with the adapters. Ended up maxing the front caster plates and getting some eibach crash bolts for the rear to get it close to right.
Painted the wheels white. Adjusted some shit. Got hammered and made some stencils to do digi camo on the already shity carbon fiber hood. Broke my foglight covers. Rednecked them together. Painted. At this point I was certain I was cool.

Now, my timleline may be a bit off here but at some point in this nonsense a buddy and I were playing around on the interstate and I mishifted before an exit, pegged the tach, and came to a rather sudden stop. Later came to find I hogged out my crank bearings, bent some valves, blew up the clutch blah blah blah.
Started here.

WINNING (sortof) (jdm ej205 with around 24k I believe.)

Ended up having to swap all the usdm stuff I could to the new longblock and did a refresh. Painted the bay, tucked some things, cleaned it all up and got it running.
Now WINNING
[IMG]
[/IMG]
Since then the car has ran alright. Stock, mostly reliable and that good stuff but it only stayed that way cause I had the money to keep it running not really to build it.
Somewhere in there a friend convinced me to max these coils, roll some shit, add more camberz and be bout that life. Thats where the desire to make money then turn around and dump it into this pile.
Previous to moving to Texas.

Took the digi paint off and did a rising sun on the hood for extra street cred. Swapped the carbo trunk for a good condition stock one. Did nothing for the longest time up until I raised her up and put it on a super sketchy trailer bound for Texas.

[/IMG]
We made it with very little trouble and began the process of planning what will be happening. Immediately did fluids and filters, installed new Bosch boost and water temp gauges, sensor port, fixed the horn wiring and buttoned some stuff up. Plans now that I have capital and a bigger garage are building a bulletproof long block, new ancillaries, vf52, fmic, ebc, new clutch, coilpacks, injectors, respray for some panels and a tune.
I'll be back with more mediocraty.
