Yea! Was a very cool choice. I was browsing and I have always been a fan of copper but then i started getting to the darker side of things and wanted something less flashy and more complex so you can run your fingers across it and it feels like a textured railing on some steps if that makes sense!

Where to Begin
My rebuild process after wrecking this car was the most god awful winter I've been through. I dove into the car. In the garage every night from the time i got home until i got too tired and had to sleep. I gave it my all and it paid off but, there is always little stupid shit to drag you along the way.
Okay so the car had the subframe, control arm, motor mount, and a couple other smaller components replaced just to get it driving. I drove it around with out a drivers side fender and steelies that were my friends because he knew i couldn't afford tires for the sport wheels. (I've been trying to give back now that my car is done from all the help from this rebuild). I got all my struts together cleaned them up and they were close to blown anyways but, i had already spent so much money there was nothing i could do if I wanted to get the car ready for spring. Installed my UAS bags on my function and form type 2 coilvers millions of problems from fittings to ride quality and car refused to go low. I was able to get lower mounts from my good friend Nick Wochok (@fitthestance) and I was able to lay it out then but, thats with having the coilver maxed out and when I would air up at that height I can't drive. So i daily it at a different height then I like but, it will do for now. I finally bought new front replacement shocks 2 weeks ago and it rides a lot better. Still need new rear struts. Getting a new fender rolled and on my car was a nightmare made two separate cuts to widen the front fender to meet up with the bumper and made the cuts just a hair too short out of place and may split fender one day. Who knows. It isn't oem so its not perfect and won't be happy with it till i buy 2 new fenders and a new bumper and repaint the whole car. Back to the beginning of the rebuild. With running two brackets on the rear with my straight beam axle the car wouldn't go low at all lol. I was way lower when I was static. We shaved a bracket to short (twice) after re-welding it so we cut up the car instead of going down that road a third time. got the bag set up to tuck wheel and go as low as possible. (Its only wheel stopping it now so its time to cut and weld some more). My side skirt was messed up (still is) and during the winter my car was hit with some large object who knows what and left a dent the size of a basketball in the hatch. (Thanks whoever you are). I haven't replaced a single airbag that was blown from the crash so its pretty much a rolling death trap. (Its fine, everything fine). bummed an airbag from a buddy to put in my steering wheel and he recently traded in his car so he sold me his grip royal at a good deal. (Have yet to install to exhausted from too long of a winter on this car lol). Mechanically the car is so sound I am so proud of my car it can take a beating for sure. Just need my suspension to stop screwing up every 3 days and we will be gucci. My headlight retrofit was the best 185 bucks I've spent. I can see everything at night now. Its awesome. Highly recommend it to anyone for any vehicle. Check out theretrofitsource.com On to my management. I had NO IDEA what I was doing I had never bagged a car before I hadn't even hung out with people with bagged cars. So I had no help besides a group chat of a few friends that saved my life. Made this flimsy temp board for the back. Wires and lines everywhere. Wanted to leave plenty of slack on everything because who knows if I had to move it again. It all my shit was plugged up and left exposed for over a month as i kept changing everything. built a brace to start my raised floor. got as far as a brace (sick). This car taught me a lot about myself this past winter. People who ditch there cars day in and day out ill never understand. I want this car forever.
Lets move on to wheels. My 17x7.5 +23 pain in the ass Weds Kranze Bazreias are finally where I would like them to be but, it has been a long hellacious road. Received them with out knowing a full clear understanding of the condition. Its the chance you take when you order form japan sometimes. Received them not know they were 2 piece WELDED just 2 piece. first surprise. Chrome was peeling off the faces so I take them to go get chemically stripped. The people had no idea what they were doing and claimed it (just didn't work). I found someone who would sand blast them which left a rough face. I started out at 220 grit sand paper and worked my way up to 2000 on the lips and faces. this whole process took me about a month or more. Lips came out fine. Faces were left pitted and did not shine. I cleaned polished and heavily waxed and they still looked like shit. Oh i forgot to mention the bolts that were for aesthetic around the face were just stamped heads not even real bolts since they were welded. I individually thread all the holes (almost 100) to thread actual bolts with loctitie in to them. first set were painted gold but had to come out when i repainted and it chipped the paint taking them out so I ordered another 100 hex bolts. wheels were painted metallic silver by me. Red accents on the wheels and center caps were a clever way to tie the car in with the wheel I was proud of that lol. One tire was damaged while mounting 165/40. so had to buy another 2 tires. At least i have a spare now. got the wheels cleaned up and so happy and then lightly curbed a rear one almost all the way around on my street. I screamed and then wanted to cry. My bad luck is at an absolute 1000 all the time any day. Not sure where my terrible karma is from but, who knows.
I am sure I am missing plenty. Ill post up some pictures soon.
