So I lately I've been itching to buy another z32 Slicktop that has a cleaner shell, and interior. My current z had some dents and need body work as well as an interior refresh. After doing the numbers I came to an estimate of around 5-6k to bring my z to where I want it to be looks wise if I was to keep the present slicktop.
2 weeks ago I pulled my motor and trans from the 93 which is 2jz swapped, so that I could go back through and tuck the bay to finally clean things up completely on the car. The Next week while I was at work I happen to be on auto trader just browsing and found a nice 94 slicktop with 114k miles on the dash. I requested recent photos of the car and it's current state. The PO stated the clutch had gone to the floor and the car had a fuel leak somewhere in the engine bay, but the car had mint interior, and a recent paint job to go with the addition of a JSPEC front end. I spoke it over with the wife and got the green light to go get the car with the plan to getting it running, check everything over and then swapp it's drive train in to my old slicktop. I will put my old slicktop up for sale as a stock na. Since the motor and trans for the 2jz are already out I will do a refresh on the motor and drop everything in when my new twin disc clutch gets in.
I will need to return the slave cylinder and brake fluid I bought as I listen to the PO before testing it my self and realized there was nothing wrong with the clutch SMH.
On to the pics.
engine bay was filthy, to say the least. I still need to finish pulling the wires from some horrible stereo install. has to be at least 10lbs of wire.

Reason the car had a rough idle and sputtering

Amazing what a 10 mins wash can do. Need to take firm bush to the wheels as the brake dust is caked on.
