bump for requesting more updates hehe. Honestly this thing is gonna be so nice i dont know if you will want to trash your chassis as much as it takes to fit the 5.0
the motor/tranny has to sit so high that i had to chop up the shifter hole and do some more cutting and hammering so the output shaft could clear so that the tranny could sit high enough.
and the driveshaft wasnt going to clean the driveshaft tunnel. i had to cut out the ebrake handle mount in order to make room for the driveshaft.
firewall hammering is also required but you could do the bodywork to make that look nice with some body work.
hood clears though so thats good.

I've mentioned multiple times about my kitchen remodel being the reason I have not been able to make progress on my car like I would like to. So since it has been consuming all of my time, I figured I might as well share my progress. After nearly 7 months my kitchen is finally finished, I did all of the work myself and learned a bunch of stuff in the process (the hard way). I know it has nothing to do with my car but here it is...

did a little bit of work on the floors today after work. I currently am out of c25 so I cant weld anything up, but I cut out the bad spot on the passenger side rear floor pan and made the patch piece for it. After struggling with the drivers side, ive learned first hand that the patch piece needs to fit well and have minimal gaps. I also picked up a tube bender. I plan on making a tube front end once I pull the motor, Ill also make a bash bar for the rear so i can cut out all of the bad sheet metal hiding behind my rear valance. Im going to spend my free time over the next couple weeks cutting out the rest of the bad metal and making the patches. I want the floors done so I can start working on the roll bar.

Just realized pictures didn't work in my last post. Car has sat for way too long untouched. Finally getting back at it. Have some parts on the way. Temporarily putting the car back together, so for 2017 it will be back on the road with a turbo m20. I also picked up an 03 Audi allroad, which is something I've wanted for a few years now.

Been working on the e28 a good bit recently. Converting over to manual brakes, and deleting unnecessary pieces in the engine bay. Turbo parts coming soon.
