Ordered rear "tubs" for the floor build but still have a good bit to do to wrap up the body drop itself. It isn't much but it is work. Just finish welding up the door plates and then do frame horn work to drop them and make them solid again.

So tubs are ordered, steel is in hand, and hopefully see some good progress in the coming weeks but the holidays will definitely slow us down. Also, sourced a transmission for the v8 swap. Everyone goes 700R4 but fuck all that I want to do it the hard way. 4L60E it is with "manual" auto shift with the TransGo -3 Shift Kit...or so I'm told. Overdrive lockup via switch, so it should ride out amazing on the highway.

This is so savage. Every time I see a build like this I always feel like such a bitch for being hyped about tucking a couple inches of wheel when you tuck half of yours hahaha

I'll have plenty to update as long as I am working on it. Things are at a point where I am actually making some sort of progress. That said...Texas? Gross!

Here are a few photos and an update. I did shit a certain way when cutting the firewall and it came out to really help me. Fuck ya. We cut high to remove the master cylinder/booster mount and not fuck with steering. Well, it worked. A lot. Very well. Go me.

You can see in the firewall photo that the cut misses the has pedal, the steering location, and anything else major...except master cylinder location. Lucky me though, I was smart enough to save the piece we cut out. What I did was just line up that section again and tack it back in.

These photos are just randoms that I don't think got posted previously.

This is how I built the lowers. Cut the top out almost entirely and set a piece of plate over it, welded it back up, then stitch welded the spring pocket back on for structure.
