Well Monday me and the family made our move from Virginia beach down to Jacksonville Florida. My daughter rode with my fiancé in her Jetta sport wagon. I lead the way in the bagged vanagon hoping the whole time that the 30yr old van would make it no problem. Aside from topping out at 70mph, listing to the annoying exhaust leak, and burning just under a quart of oil the van did perfect on the 12hr 666mile drive. This van has totally surprised me and continues to do so. I can't wait to start working and upgrading more parts on it once we get settled into our new home.

This is awesome! I would like to build a TDI Transporter from this era at some point as a hauler for parts etc - very cool vanagon! Subscribed for more updates.

This thing needs shag carpet and curtains.

                  Thanks everyone!

Thinking about a motor swap right now. Not really looking to do a sti swap as most people do. I'm leaning towards a built 2.0aba swap with the possibility of a turbo. We will see what happens

Following this build thread, used to have a T3 Caravelle. Love them.
Bus looks really nice, love the colour.
