For those who have been following this thread (at least as of recently) you would know that I was originally planning on wrapping my car to preserve the somewhat rare (1 of 394) original color (lava orange mica). Well.....after many conversations with my bodyshop and much deliberation I ultimately decided to go ahead and give the car a full re-spray. I decided on this mostly because my car had it's fair share of imperfections and needed body work in order for a wrap to be applied correctly, and the cost difference between having the bodywork done + having it wrapped totalled up to about the same as just having the car repainted (along with all needed bodywork). So I bit the bullet and had it painted. The color is sunset bronze mica.....you may recognize this color from your neighbor's Toyota Venza. Aside from the paint I also mounted my new wheels, which are 16x9 +5F/+0R (with the use of spacers) Wagen Wheels WW1's. From what I understand these wheels are pretty common in the VW scene but are all but unheard of in the Miata scene. I also had Matt Waln over at Factory 55 powercoat the faces prismatic gold. I honestly couldn't be happier with the turnout and how well everything came together. Next up is I am having a local shop custom build me a polyurethane front splitter to replace my exuding setup. It should be about the same thickness as my Project-G side fusers and should ultimately give my exterior a tidier more "complete" look.

Anywho enjoy the pictures and as always feedback is welcomed!

Now that's an update! I visited this forever ago with the old setup and skipped to the end today and was like looks like I missed a lot

        • Thanks everyone! Debating the new "big" move for the car. Either going to do a little more motor work and maybe some seats........OR.....sell it and move onto to my next car. I want a yellow power-hardtop NC2 Miata for my next project.
