    The new challenge was redesigning the dash. I wanted to simplify the design but still keeping the original clocks. I started by welding all the holes shut, which really looked messy and front inside the bonnet looked like a total mess. I also extended and drill the steering rod housing and made a new holding bracket

    so not being happy with the first attempt I cut it out and welded in a new one piece plate

    got trimmings back from the platters...

    Finally it was time to test fit all the beading, clock etc.

    I wanted to run oil temp and pressure gauges but not on or under dash, so I cut and welding brakets into the inner roof section next to the rear view mirror

      The brake, it I want to go like a bat out of hell, i need to be able to stop the beast. Front are wilwood 4 pot calipers and the rear are golf
