Whoa, So its been over a year. Sorry.
Well heres an update for whoever is interested.
Shortly after my last post my car starting doing some sus shit and making me angry and stuff was breaking a lot. Basically what was changed since my last post is Fuel pump, pump relay, fuel filter, spark plug wires, spark plugs, brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, and some other small shit not worth mentioning. Car sat for way longer than it should have cause i neglected it a lot and I had a nice daily driver to drive so never felt the need to work on it..
But got my shit together and changed all that stuff over a long period of time and now we are good to go. So heres a little photo dump. Sold the Vishunus also so just have been rocking the battles. If anyone is selling some SSR Koenigs then let me knoooowwwwwww

Me and a friend at the wassshhhh

More friends

And then 2017 hit me like an old man in a tan mini van..
Well I hit him actually but he was at fault. I was driving through and intersection I had a green light and he had a yield to turn so he thought he was going to be able to make it and I just couldn't stop in time.. Here are the results. 2 days into 2017 and its starting off niceee.

Plans are to buy it back and start tearing it apart to see what needs to be done.Peep this yo

Damn man that's a huge bummer, Why not just find a rust free rolling shell for hella cheap they are everywhere? Tube fronts are cool but unless you are really good at fabricating its going to be pricey.

God fucking damn it, your car was so nice and stock, too.
Tube front end would be neat, but still... fucking bummer on the stock sheetmetal getting ruined.BB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . . VA WRX Limited . . 1969 Nova

I live in kansas so rust free rolling shells aren't really a thing. I don't have much of a choice on the tube front.Originally posted by 190Evan View PostDamn man that's a huge bummer, Why not just find a rust free rolling shell for hella cheap they are everywhere? Little update here,
So insurance finally got back to me and they totaled out my car obviously so they cut me a check and let me keep the car, glad i didn't have to buy it back. So now that i was able to start working on the car after sitting for 3 weeks I started deciding what I was going to do. I already knew I was going to fix the car. The plan is to tube the front end, I ordered a bumper and have it already I also ordered a hood but it wont be here for another 2 weeks atleast, fenders I will be rocking oem ones for now until I'm able to get some nice ones.
First things first though I needed to start taking apart the front end. I haven't taking a whole lot off yet and its a pain in the ass to get to some bolts since they are smashed up against things they shouldn't be. Picked up a sawzall and will be cutting the rest out soon.
Shitty iphones pictures incoming

I have classes from 8:30 to about 3-4p.m. monday through friday and the sun sets at like 5:30 ish so I don't have a ton of light either and my garage is more of a shed and just collects a bunch of bullshit so can't use it.
But I came home for lunch on tuesday to see this

Which was a pair of wheels that i didn't need to buy but I did cause fuck it and a tube front kit that i got from RunnitCNC which is Rob also known as chairslayer. Shouts out to him!

Which brings everything back up to date. I'll be able to take my car to a guys shop here in a week or 2 and get started on actually fitting the tube front in and mocking everything up so while I wait I've started working on refinishing the wheels. For some fucking reason somebody thought it'd be a good idea to plastidip the wheels so working on cleaning that mess up.
The wheels are Blitz Technospeed Z1's and specs are 17x8 +38 for anyone whos curious.

Hey man, I'm looking at wheels for my FC and I'm having a bit of trouble finding the right size because I don't want to have rubbing issues with the front struts. Did you have any rubbing issues up front with the 17x9.5 +15?Originally posted by Evan_Holtz View Post
Next was coils and wheels. my options I gave myself were megan coils/BC's/PBM's and so I chose the most expensive ones and went with PBM coils and bought some 17x9.5 +15 MB battles for now till I decided what wheels I wanted and figured the battles would be good drift spares
i'm running accelera alpha rubber on them and highly recommend these tires. They stretch amazing and they're cheap. So got the coils and wheels on and it looks great right now. I have a lot of internal conflicts with myself whether I wanna go aero or stock body and I think I'm gonna go stock body for a while with exceptions like rear window visors and a lip and wing.
Heres a photo of my car after the wheels and coils were put on. He took this with his potato.

I'm planning on running 17x9 +25 with either 235/50/17 or 215/55/17. Think that'll clear the struts?
Not meaning to thread jack or anything. PM me if thats more appropriate. Thanks in advance!
