Thanks guys. I do plan on going wide up front also. It's just going to be trickier because I want to go lower but it wouldn't be very possible with fat tires. Stay tuned for more!

Bloody hell mate this is mind blowing, can't wait to see this finished, although I do think you'll need to do some work with the front too as it might look a little hot-rod-ish if you only widen the back.
Really like this so far and I'm in for more.

Are you talking about the arch while looking at it from the side or the flare while looking at the booty?

    if that makes sense.

Pretty much continue the stock curve instead of the RWB style notch it has.

    Super cool either way.

The reason why I didn't do that is because that's how every widened bug is. I also don't really like the look of just widening it for some reason. I mainly wanted something a little different though

I want to finish this fast. But I also want to drop it more. Which would require more cutting of the body. Which would make the lroject even longerrrrrr. We'll see

Here's a few updated pics. I didn't get good pictures besides these 3. Which aren't even good. But I somewhat got the shape and look I want. I got some messing around to and a few more changes but now everyone can have an idea of what I'm going for.

That fender/tire combo is completely ridiculous, unnecessary, and totally contradicts a classic Beetle's inherent lightness and simplicity.

    I'm in for more.
